India's struggle to shed its socialist past took one more step backward last week, as the Supreme Court upheld intrusive affirmative action policies in public universities. It's yet another ruling that perverts the equal society India's founders intended. Just as seriously, it's a blow to the competitiveness of India's future workforce.
