“There’s obviously a lot of women out there who want to play sports,” said Kasic.  “But it’s also important to realize there are plenty of opportunities.  There have been more NCAA women’s teams than men’s teams since 1995. This myth that there are no opportunities for women, there are no scholarships is just that – it’s a myth.  There are plenty of opportunities.  Schools are in the best place to be making these allocating decisions, not the federal government.”
