Delaney Thull is a PhD student in Philosophy at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She earned a BA in Philosophy from Princeton University. She was an Adam Smith Fellow during the 2022-2023 academic year. Her research interests include understanding the value of negative emotions, especially when they are not morally justified. Her dissertation articulates the distinct nature, value, and normative status of negative political emotions, such as those felt under polarization.
