Iruoma Ezumba is a PhD student in Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She earned an MA in Communication from Central Michigan University and an LLB from Obafemi Awolowo University. Her research examines the documentary “Knock Down the House,” exploring the various rhetorical startegies deployed to gain political representation in US democratic system by four working class women who ran in the 2018 congressional race for the first time.
