Jerome Patrick (Jerik) Cruz

Jerome Patrick (Jerik) Cruz is a PhD student in Political Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He earned an MA in Development Studies from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies and a BA in Economics from Ateneo de Manila University. His research centers on the drivers and repercussions of the spread of the global “knowledge economy” to the developing world, as manifested in the rise of offshored and increasingly sophisticated information technology hubs in countries like India and the Philippines.
