Jie Song is a PhD student in Agricultural & Resource Economics at the University of California, Berkeley. She earned an MPP from Georgetown University and a BA in Economics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research focuses on the coordination problem resulting from decentralized infrasture. In particular, she examines how governments in one jurisdiction may not consider the externalities of their road network to outside users.
