Josh Banerjee is a Visiting Research Scholar at Duke University. He earned a PhD, MSc, and BSc in Economic History from the London School of Economics & Political Science. His research is focused on macroeconomic history, particularly of Britain, and he is interested in the material and ideational determinants of economic growth, the analysis of macroeconomic fluctuations, and the history of economic and econometric thought. He also maintains an interest in the relationship between the market and the state in both contemporary and historical settings, as well as normative issues in the political economy of a prosperous and flourishing society.
