Kaveh Pourvand is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Arizona. He earned a PhD and MS in Political Theory from the London School of Economics & Political Science, an MA in International Politics from City University London, and a BSc in Business Finance from Durham University. His research interests include strategic interaction in political life and its implications for the feasibility of normative theories, the implication of social complexity for our understanding of the state and collective political actions, and the best ethical justification for institutions of self-governance broadly understood.
