Laura Araújo de Freitas is a PhD student in Economics at the University of Cambridge. She earned an MPhil in Economic Research from the University of Cambridge and a BS in Economics from the University of Manchester. Her research interests include the political economy of institutions, political business cycles, and differences in redistributive policies between autocracies and democracies.
