Matthew (Gah-Kai) Leung

Gah-Kai Leung is a PhD student in politics & international studies at the University of Warwick. His research interests include earth sciences, public policy, disaster risk reduction, and applied ethics, with emphasis on the ethical and political issues surrounding earthquake and tsunami risk management in the Pacific Northwest. Gah-Kai earned an MA in transnational studies from University College London, and a BA in philosophy, politics & economics from the University of Warwick. He was a Mercatus Center Frédéric Bastiat fellow during the 2021-2022 academic year.
