Sebastian Lukas Ahlstich is a PhD student in International Economics, Government, and Business at the Copenhagen Business School. He earned an MS in Economics from Humboldt University Berlin and a BA in Business Administration and Finance from Munich University of Applied Sciences. His research investigates the utilization of preferential tariff agreements, such as Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), by firms, examining how far free trade agreements are about actual trade creation and analyzes the current diffusion of FTAs from a political economy perspective.
