Shar-Lee Amori is a PhD student in Urban Planning, Policy and Design at McGill University. She earned an MS in International Relations and Public Policy and a BS in International Relations & Public Policy and Management from University of the West Indies. Her research focuses broadly on creating adaptive smart cities in the Global South. In particular, her research evaluates the impact of socio-cybernetics, politics and economics on sustainable urbanization in the global south and asseses how techno-social 'smart' urban policy development impacts urbanization.
