Thomas Howes is a Lecturer in Politics at Princeton University, a Managing Editor at The Vital Center, and a Research Fellow at the Austrian Institute. He earned a PhD in Moral and Political Philosophy from Catholic University of America, a STB in Theology from the University of the Santa Croce, and a BA in Philosophy from St. Mary's University. His research currently focuses on natural law theory and constitutional democracy, featuring topics of political economy informed by insights from F.A. Hayek and James M. Buchanan. He is interested in further research in political philosophy, ethics, and political ethics/economy informed by these and other perspectives for academic and popular publications.
