Tom Bugdalle is a PhD student in Economics at Leipzig University. He earned an MS in Economics from Leipzig University, an MR in Development Economics from University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and a BS in Economics and Management Science from Leipzig University. His research focuses on the role of central banks in creating imbalances within monetary unions, particularly in the Eurozone. He examines ways in which the monetary policy of the European Central Bank has distorted free-market mechanisms in Europarean Member states.
