Tatiana Macías Muentes earned her PhD in social and legal sciences at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. She also works as an economics professor at Universidad San Francisco de Quito USFQ. Tatiana earned her MA in Austrian economics from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos and her BS in international affairs, business management, and foreign trade from Universidad de Espacialidades Espiritu Santo UEES. Her research interests include Austrian economics, public choice, public policy, and education policy. She was a Mercatus Center Frédéric Bastiat Fellow during 2018-2019 academic year.
