Brett Doyle

Brett Doyle is the Managing Director of Outreach at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, overseeing the Center’s educational outreach at the local, state, and federal level.

Doyle served as a legislative assistant in the Office of Senator Pat Toomey (2013-2017) before working as a policy analyst with the US Senate Republican Policy Committee (2017). He held senior policy roles in the Office of the US Trade Representative (2017-2018) and at the Environmental Protection Agency (2018-2020). During the pandemic, he served as a Senior Advisor to Sen. Toomey on the Covid-19 Congressional Oversight Committee. Most recently, Doyle was the Director of Government Relations at Sylvamo Corporation, a global paper manufacturer.

Doyle holds a BA from Lafayette College and a graduate diploma from the US Naval War College.
